Awana equips local volunteers in churches around the world with Biblical evangelism and discipleship solutions so that today's children may become tomorrow's Christian leaders, in every aspect of society and culture.

Our vision for the children's ministries department here at Winton First Baptist Church is to empower, equip, and activate children to advance the Kingdom of God. It's our heart that they know Him, encounter Him, and adore Him.

We are excited about the music ministry of the First Family.  Every service is filled with congregational singing, choral music, solos, duets, trios, quartets and ensembles.

The First Family is active in ministry preparation, worship, Bible study, witnessing, caring, prayer and music.

New Testament Deacons serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church-doing the benevolence work, visiting the sick, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation-for the purposes of freeing the pastoral staff to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word, promoting unit

The Pastor of the church provides a devotional entitled Standing Up For The Truth hoping it will be a source of inspiration, encouragement, and strengthening of your faith.

Fellowship Ministry is headed up by Heather Dickison with the assistance of many dedicated helpers.

We care about you and your spiritual development. As a result of this concern, we would count it a privlidge to provide support in a number of ways.

Men's Ministry meets every Monday night at 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. A Men's Ministry Breakfast is held the last Saturday of the month, 7:00 am, at Brooks Ranch in Atwater. All men aged High School and above are encouraged to attend as we continue our study through the Bible.

The mid-week Bible study and prayer time is designed to be an informal gather of those who desire a more personal approach to spiritual growth. Currently the study is held online via Zoom on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 p.m.

Go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28.19).

Bible study is a very important part of spiritual growth and development. Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. 

 

 

Worship is key to everything we do.  The worship services of the First Family are designed to enlighten our understanding of God, enliven our spirit in joyful celebration of Jesus Christ, and empower our life in following the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

To train and encourage youth workers & students for effective global ministry.  "Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).
