As we enter the month of November, we are reminded of how much we have to be thankful for. God continues to bless our church through the people, ministries, and opportunities He provides. This month, we encourage everyone to take time each day to reflect on God's goodness and share that thankfulness with others.
Be sure to visit our Facebook page throughout the month for our daily Thankful Posts! Each day brings a new reminder of something we can praise God for.
AWANA Club and God Squad Youth are continuing througout the month. Our kids and youth have wonderful opportunities each week to grow in their knowledge of God's Word, build friendships, and strengthen their faith. We are thankful for everyone who serves and helps make these ministries possible.
Our small groups are continuing their study of Experiencing God. If you haven't joined a group yet, there's still time! Studying God's Word together is a wonderful way to grow in your faith and connect with others. Information about group locations and meeting times is available in the church foyer.
The Pure Pursuers Homeschool Co-op continues every Thursday with another month of learning, fellowship, and fun! The children are also busy preparing for their next Choir Performance "In a Galilee Far Far Away." We are excited to see their hard work come together and look forward to sharing this special performance.
Men's Ministry continues to meet every Monday evening at 6:00 PM in the fellowship hall. This is a time of fellowship, encouragement, and growing together in Christ. They also gather for breakfast on the last Saturday of the month at Brooks Ranch at 7:00 AM. All men are welcome!
Coats for Hope is collecting coats to help provide warmth for those in need this winter. New coats and cash donations are being accepted. For drop off locations visit www.loveincmerced.com. The deadline for coat drop offs is November 12 and coats will be distributed on November 14 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Hoffmeister Center in Merced.
Operation Christmas Child has begun! Shoeboxes are available in the church foyer. Pick one up, fill it with gifts, and be sure to indicate whether it's for a boy or a girl. These shoeboxes are a wonderful opportunity to share God's love and bring joy to children around the world. Thank you for being part of this ministry!

Join us Sunday, November 22, at 12:00 PM, immediately following church service, for our church Thanksgiving dinner! We will enjoy a time of food, fellowship, and giving thanks for all the ways God has blessed us. Everyone is welcome! We ask that everyone brings a pie to share, the church will take care of the rest!
"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name" Psalm 100:4
As we celbrate Thanksgiving this month, may we remember that thankfulness is more than something we express on one holiday. It is an attitude we can carry with us every day. No matter what season of life we find ourselves in, there is always a reason to give thanks to God. We are grateful for our WFBC family and the opportunity to worship, serve, and grow together. May God continue to bless each of you!
