As we settle into October, we apologize for the delay in getting this month's newsletter out! Fall is here, bringing cooler days and a wonderful opportunity to slow down, spend time in fellowship, and grow together in our walk with the Lord. There is a lot happening at WFBC this month, and we hope you'll find opportunities to get connected!
October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for Pastor Chris and Hannah Koch and Pastor Dave and Teresa Benton, and all they do for our church. We are thankful for their faithful leadership, encouragement, and dedication to serving the Lord and our church family.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Pastor Appreciation Lunch on October 4! Your participation helped make it a special time of fellowship and appreciation. Let's continue to lift up our pastors and their families in prayer throughout the year!
Our small group Bible studies have officially begun! We are studying Experiencing God, a wonderful opportunity to grow in our understanding of how God works in our lives and how we can learn to recognize and respond to His leading.
Small groups are a great way to build relationships, study God's Word together, and encourage one another in our faith.
It's not too late to join a group! If you're looking to deepen your faith and connect with others in our church family, we would love for you to participate.
For group locations and meeting times, please check the information posted in the church foyer.
AWANA is continuing this month, and we're excited to keep helping children learn God's Word, build friendships, and grow in their faith. We're grateful for our dedicated volunteers and the families who make this ministry possible!
Parents, keep encouraging your children to memorize Scripture and put what they're learning into practice throughout the week. We look forward to another great month of learning and growing together!

As the leaves begin to change and the days grow cooler, fall reminds us that every season has its purpose. Just as God faithfully guides the changing seasons, He remains faithful through every season of our lives.
This is a wonderful time to reflect on the blessings God has given us, express gratitude for the people He has placed in our lives, and look for ways to serve others. May we use this season to grow deeper in our faith, strengthen our relationships with one another, and find joy in the opportunities God places before us.
Let's continue to encourage one another, serve faithfully, and keep our eyes fixed on Him!
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
