Summer is here, and God is doing exciting things in and through our church family. From honoring dads to preparing for Vacation Bible School, and welcoming new faces into fellowship, this month is filled with opportunity and joy. Here’s what’s happening in June:

Father’s Day Continental Breakfast – June 15 at 8:00 AM
Join us on Sunday, June 15, as we celebrate the fathers and father figures in our lives. We’ll kick off the day with a continental breakfast at 8:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to come enjoy breakfast and fellowship together!

Find a Sunday School Class – There’s a Place for You!
Are you attending a Sunday School class? If not, we’d love to invite you to join one! Sunday School meets every week at 9:00 AM, and there are classes for every age and stage—from toddlers to senior adults, young couples to seasoned believers.

These small group settings are a great way to grow deeper in your walk with the Lord, ask questions, build friendships, and feel more connected to the life of the church. If you’re unsure where to go, someone will be happy to help guide you on Sunday morning!

God Is Growing His Church
We’re thankful to see new families joining us and becoming part of the Winton First Baptist family. Whether you’ve recently started attending or have been here for years, we want you to know you’re a vital part of what God is doing here. Let’s continue to be a church that is welcoming, joyful, and rooted in God’s Word. Take time to introduce yourself to someone new—you never know who’s waiting for a friendly smile.

 VBS Preparations Are Underway!
Vacation Bible School is just around the corner, and we’re so excited for what’s coming! Mrs. Stephanie and the Youth Group have been hard at work preparing decorations, organizing supplies, and getting everything ready to make this year’s VBS a meaningful and memorable experience for our kids.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Pray for the volunteers, leaders, and children who will be part of this special week.

  • Volunteer to join the team—there’s still room to serve in a variety of roles.

  • Donate supplies—clook for the wanted posters in the church lobby or contact Stephanie Ashlock for details.

Let’s work together to support this important outreach and help kids grow in their knowledge of God's Word!

Stay connected here on the website and on our Facebook page for updates, photos, and more details on what’s happening throughout the month. We’re grateful for each of you and excited to see what God continues to do through His church!

“So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” – 1 Corinthians 3:7
