January at Winton First Baptist Church

As we step into a new year, we do so with hearts full of gratitude and hope. 2025 was a good year, marked by God’s faithfulness, His provision, and His continued work in and through our church family. We have seen growth, deepened relationships, and many opportunities to worship, serve, and share the love of Christ. As we turn the page to 2026, we look forward with anticipation, trusting that God has new things in store for Winton First Baptist Church.

January brings a fresh start and the return of many of our ministries after the Christmas season. We are excited to reconnect, refocus, and continue walking together in faith.

Ministry Highlights & Upcoming Events

January 4, 2026 – AWANA Club & Sunday Family Nights Resume
After our Christmas break, AWANA Club and Sunday Family Nights will begin again. These evenings provide an opportunity for children and families to grow in God’s Word, build relationships, and enjoy fellowship together. We are thankful for our leaders and volunteers who faithfully serve each week.

January 8, 2026 – Pure Pursuers Co-Op Ministry Resumes
The Pure Pursuers Co-Op Ministry will be resuming this month, continuing its commitment to supporting families through faith-based learning and community.

January 12, 2026 | 6:00 PM – Life Ready Workshop: Azure Standard
This month marks the launch of Life Ready Workshops, a new monthly ministry focused on equipping families with practical life skills taught through a biblical worldview. Topics will vary each month and are designed to encourage wise stewardship and confident, Christ-centered living.

Our first workshop will introduce Azure Standard, a company that provides healthy, affordable groceries delivered directly to WFBC. Attendees will learn how the program works and how it can help families feed their households well while staying within budget. Most workshops will be free, though some may include a small materials cost.

January 18, 2026 | 12:00 PM – Soup Potluck (Following Service)
Join us after the church service for a soup potluck and a time of fellowship together. Bring a pot of soup to share and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of conversation and community.

Looking Ahead with Expectation

As we begin 2026, we are excited to see where God leads our church. We are grateful for each person who is part of the WFBC family and look forward to continuing to worship, serve, and grow together in the year ahead.
