A Joyful Summer at WFBC
What a blessing this summer has been! Our Church Waterslide Day was filled with laughter, splashes, and sweet fellowship — a reminder of the joy we have when we come together as a church family. Whether you were sliding down, cheering from the sidelines, or helping behind the scenes, thank you for making it such a special day. We’re so grateful for each of you and the way you bring life and love to WFBC.

Summer is Wrapping Up
As we say goodbye to summer, we’re looking ahead to a season filled with ministry opportunities and ways to connect. Here’s what’s coming up:

Sunday Family Nights Return – September
Starting in September, our Sunday Family Nights are back! There’s something for everyone:

  • AWANA Club for kids ages 3 years–6th grade

  • God Squad youth group for grades 7–12

  • Young Adults Under 30 group

  • Adult Bible studies including Biblical Archaeology, Raising Kids God’s Way, and Evangelism
    Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. for a small fee.

AWANA is Hiring (Well…Volunteering!)
Our AWANA ministry is looking for a T&T (Truth & Training) Teacher for Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m., September through May. If God has placed a love for kids and His Word on your heart, please contact Annie Ashlock at publicity@wintonchurch.org for more details.

Pure Pursuers Homeschool Co-op
Our Pure Pursuers Co-op will start back up in September! This ministry meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and is a wonderful time of fellowship, learning, and encouragement for homeschooling families.

Harvest Festival – Vendors Wanted
We’re preparing for our Harvest Festival in November and are currently looking for vendors to join our Vendor Fair!

Hosting Opportunity – Watoto Children’s Choir
The Watoto Children’s Choir will be at WFBC in October, and we have the privilege of hosting them! We need 10 host homes to house 11 adults and 15 children for one night. Each adult needs their own bed, while children can share larger beds, air mattresses, or cots.
If you can open your home, please contact the church office for details and guidelines.
