On Sunday evening, November 11, 2007, the church friends and family met at the Buhach Pentecost Hall in Merced for a celebration dinner. At this dinner, the children had their own food and program as they were entertained by a Christian magician in an adjacent room to the adults. The adult group shared in Christian fellowship, a great dinner, sang songs of God's blessings and listened to poignant music and speakers relating to the stewardship of God's resources. We were then challenged by Pastor Martin to pledge to the building program an amount in keeping with what God had impressed upon our hearts to pledge; nothing more or nothing less. After the sealed pledge cards were collected, they were brought to the podium where Pastor Martin asked God's blessings on the pledges that He would use them to further His will in both the church building ministry and the lives of the donors.
